On Tuesday, Bowling Green Police Division retrieved sensitive papers left at the Bowling Green Recycling Center. Police were notified of the paperwork by a person dropping off their own recyclables at the facility off North College Drive.
BGPD Lt. Adam Skaff said several banker size boxes were found containing large envelopes of personal information, such as medical records, medication records, receipts and copies of birth certificates.
It appears the records may have come from a doctor’s office or nursing home facility that had closed.
Skaff said the police division will have the papers shredded.
