The Bowling Green City Schools will dismiss early Tuesday, Aug.28. Middle school and high school students will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. There will be no afternoon preschool.
Parents and guardians are reminded to dress children in light clothing and remind them to stay hydrated as extreme heat is expected to make room temperatures over 100. The district will monitor the temps at Conneaut, Kenwood and high school, which don’t have air conditioning.
The middle school and Crim Elementary School have air conditioning, but due to transportation issues, those students will also be released early.
