Six Bowling Green students auditioned for and were accepted into the All-State Ensembles that that performed at the Ohio Music Education Association Professional Development Conference early this month in Columbus. They performed with some of the finest musicians from across the state, led by world-class conductors and educators.
Those honored were:
- All-State Band: junior Ava Peper, daughter of Kim and Aaron Peper
- All-State Children’s Choir: Conneaut fifth graders Gracie Boswell, daughter of Courtney and Eric Boswell and Cambria Kershaw, daughter of Missy and Jonathan Kershaw,
- All-State Choir : Seniors Libby Barnett, daughter of Rachel and Michael Barnett, for third year, and Rose Walters, Mike and Karen Walters.
- All-State Orchestra for a second year: senior Eli Metzger, a senior, son of Jeff and Jenny Metzger
