The City of Bowling Green has noticed a high water demand, which this time of year indicates a possible water break that has not surfaced yet, according to Director of Public Utilities Brian O’Connell.
The city is looking for any signs of a break in the water system. Residents are being asked to call the police if they see water coming out of the ground. The police will then notify the city utilities department.
The city has also asked its wholesale customers to check their systems for possible water breaks.
