BG teacher investigated by police for alleged criminal conduct

A Bowling Green Middle School teacher is under investigation by the Bowling Green Police Division for alleged criminal conduct.

The police division was notified on Oct. 19 by Bowling Green Superintendent Francis Scruci of possible criminal conduct by a teacher.

Bowling Green Police Deputy Chief Justin White said no charges have been issued, and he would not reveal any specifics about the possible conduct being investigated.

Scruci also said he could not discuss specifics of the case.

“We were given information that there was possible misconduct,” and so the information was turned over to police, he said.

“We’re doing an internal investigation as well,” Scruci said.
