A Bowling Green woman was arrested Thursday for reportedly punching another woman in the face after some late night cooking in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Nicole Amber Tefft, 28, was charged with disorderly conduct with persistence and misconduct at an emergency. She was lodged in the Wood County jail.

Bowling Green police were called to the parking lot in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue at 11:21 p.m., for a noise complaint involving people cooking food in the parking lot.

An officer reportedly found Tefft yelling and throwing punches. According to the police report, Tefft was repeatedly told by police to stop yelling and to calm down. She reportedly continued yelling and kept resisting the officer’s attempt to separate her from others.

EMS was called to the scene after Tefft told police she could not breathe. She was transported to Wood County Hospital, where she was cleared for incarceration.
