Bobcats rally in fifth to top Generals, 4-2
The Bowling Green Bobcats varsity baseball squad answered a fifth inning rally by the Anthony Wayne Generals to come away with a 4-2 home win Thursday, May 16.
The Bobcats scored two in the second. The Generals came back in the top of the fifth to tie the game. BG answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame to secure the win. A. Claypool who relieved starting pitcher S Green to get the last out of the fifth, got the win. J Kline held the Generals hitless in the last two innings.
Leading the offense were Wisniewski, J Brown, and K Dean. BG also stole six bases in the game.
The Bobcats are now 15-11 overall and 7-7 in the NLL.
Bobcat baseball roll-over Springfield, 12-6
Five players each notched two RBI as the BG Bobcats varsity baseball team rolled over the Springfield Blue Devils in an away game, Wednesday May 8.
B. Loomis, J. Brown, C. Earl, K. Dean, and C. Kunstman led the offense. W. Brose got the win with five innings of four-hit pitching. D. Joseph and J. Brown each pitched an inning in relief.
The force is with BG in May 4 win over Rossford
The force was with the Bobcats as they outslugged the Rossford Bulldogs for a an 11-9 away win today (May 4).
J Kline and C Earl each knocked in a pair of runs while R Winger, L Neifern, and C Joseph, each contributed an RBI.
A Claypool pitched five innings of shutout ball to notch the win.
Rossford did roar back with a nine-run sixth inning. BG answered with an insurance run in the top of the seventh.
Bobcats hold off Panthers for 8-6 win
The Bowling Green Bobcats held off the Whitmer Panthers, 8-6, in an away game, Friday, May 3.
The Panthers four errors offset outhitting the Bobcats 9-7.
B. Loomis led the BG offense driving in two runs. Pitcher W. Brose registered the win as well as contributing an RBI. D. Joseph closed the game out for the Bobcats.

Bobcat baseball rally to beat Knights
The Bowling Green Bobcat varsity baseball team blew open a close game against the St. Francis Knights in the sixth inning.
The Bobcats held a 3-2 lead going into the sixth Thursday (May 2) at home. They went on to score six runs.
W. Brose who drove in three runs with two hits and J Kline and L Neifer accounting for two RBI each led the Bobcat offense. R. Winger, three innings pitched, and J. Brown, four innings pitched, combined for the win, holding the Knights to three hits.

Bobcat baseball tops Little Giants, 8-1
Bobcats varsity baseball jumped out to an early lead to defeat Fremont Ross Little Giants 8-1 in a home game this afternoon (April 24).
BG scored five in the first, and added two in the second, and held the Little Giants to two hits.
First baseman L. Neifer drove in four runs to lead the Bobcat offense.
W. Brose picked up the win going six innings of two-hit ball. D. Joseph pitched the final frame.
BG has a 9-6 record overall going 4-4 in the NLL.

Bobcats top Little Giants in baseball, 18-5
The Bowling Green Bobcat varsity baseball team came back from a 5-2 deficit in the second inning to romp past the Fremont Ross Little Giants, 18-5, in an away game Tuesday (April 22).
The offense was led by third baseman B. Loomis with four RBI on two doubles and a walk and short stop J. Brown with three RBI on a hot and two walks.
R. Winger, W. Brose, C. Kunstman, and J Kline, each delivered two RBI.
Pitcher M Brinkman got the win, coming in to a tied game with one out in the fourth. He gave up one hit, four walks, while striking out three in three and 2/3rd innings. A Claypool pitched the opening three and 1/3rd innings.

The Bowling Green Bobcat Varsity Baseball team defeated the Defiance Bulldogs 3-2 on Thursday (4/18) at Defiance.
The Bobcats scored three runs in the fifth inning to take the lead over the Bulldogs and secure the win.
W Brose earned the win for the Bobcats. He gave up two runs on four hits and had seven strike outs and two walks.
Bowling Green’s R. Winger, K. Dean and L. Neifer all were 1-for-4 with a run each. B. Loomis was 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Shaw and L. Webb were on the mound for Defiance. Together, they gave up three runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts and five walks. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Borton and B. Rodenberger.

BGHS Varsity Baseball secures win against Sylvania Southview
The Bowling Green Bobcats Varsity Baseball Team beat Sylvania Southview Cougars 4-0 on Monday (4/15).
The Bobcats got on the board in the top of the seventh inning after Carter Earl drew a walk, scoring one run. Jack Brown doubled, scoring two runs, and Braden Loomis grounded out, scoring one run.
Logan Neifer earned the win for Bowling Green. The righty surrendered one hit and zero runs over seven innings, striking out one and walking three. Luke Hermiller took the loss for Sylvania. They went six and one-third innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out two and walking one.
Brown provided pop in the middle of the lineup and led the Bobcats with two runs batted in. They went 2-for-4 on the day.
Jacob Huss went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Sylvania in hits.
