The BGO Pride Association is inviting the Bowling Green community to celebrate Pride Month.
A Rainbow Road Fundraiser will be held at Rock Em Sock Em Retro, 127 S. Main St., from 6 to 9 p.m., on Sunday, June 12. Participants can pay $5 at the door for two hours of arcade gameplay. All proceeds will benefit the BGO Pride Association.
BGO Pride will be set up at 112 S. Main St. (Al-Mar Properties), during Firefly Nights on Friday, June 17, from 6 to 10 p.m. The community can learn more about the BGO Pride Association and ways to get involved.
And on Sunday, June 26, beginning at 11:15 a.m., an ice cream social event will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 126 S. Church St. Miranda Allysen Douglas will present a “moment of education” for attendees. A free-will donation will be taken, with all proceeds benefiting the BGO Pride Association.
The organization thanks Al-Mar Properties and First Presbyterian Church for donating their spaces.
The BGO Pride Association is a non-profit organization, with the mission of increasing visibility within the Bowling Green area for members and families of the LGBTQIA+ community through education, event planning, networking and advocacy.
