Beginning January, 2020, paying for parking in downtown parking lots can be done from anywhere. And, you can extend your time in the downtown without having to return to your car.
Once the parking holiday ends and parking rates return, the city will transition to kiosks in the downtown parking lots 1, 2, 3, and 4. The kiosk system has been upgraded to a more user friendly version allowing users to quickly and easily make a payment.
Users will be able to pay at the kiosk or from their smartphone with the Park Smarter App. Making payments at the kiosks can be even faster by creating an account with Park Smarter from your home computer and registering your credit card and vehicle/license plate for every vehicle you own.
