The body recovered along the Maumee River in the Mary Jane Thurstin State Park near the village of Grand Rapids, on May 18, has been identified as Donovan Shane Bowden, 45, of Defiance, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. Bowden was reported missing to the City of Defiance Police by his wife on Feb. 17. The investigation continues, however, foul play is not suspected.
