Brian Witzgall, 23, of Harwich passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born on September 21, 1992 in Beverly, Massachusetts to Laura LaBonte and Paul Witzgall. Brian graduated from Harwich High School in 2011 and from Bridgewater State University in May of 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
Brian was a twin, leaving behind a brother, Matthew Witzgall, and two younger twin sisters, Jennifer and Sarah Witzgall. A loving grandson, he also leaves behind his grandmother, Mabel Beliveau, of Beverly, Massachusetts. With an extended family, he was step-son to Jacquelyn LaBonte and step-brother to Andrew, Tabitha, and Angela Jennings. He had a close network of friends on Cape Cod, Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and Bowling Green, Ohio.
Brian was living in Bowling Green and attending Bowling Green State University pursuing a Masters and Doctorate degree in Mathematics; he had just begun his first semester. An intelligent and caring young man, Brian hoped to one day become a university professor of mathematics and share his love of math with others.
A ‘Celebration of Life’ service will be held on Saturday, September 17th beginning at 3pm- 5pm , at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 678 Main St. Harwich Center. The family welcomes friends and family to come visit, and share memories. Burial will be in Beverly, Massachusetts at a later date.
