A wall came tumbling down late Wednesday morning in downtown Bowling Green.
Residents of the apartments located behind the eye care office at 128 S. Prospect St., heard a loud boom around 11 a.m., and went outside to see that the brick veneer on the building’s south side had collapsed into the City Parking Lot 2.
Bowling Green police officers and firefighters responded to the scene, which was near the site of the stage during the Black Swamp Arts Festival.
It appeared that the concrete block wall on the south side of the building remained structurally sound, but the Wood County Building Inspection Office was asked to respond to the site to make sure.
