Caleb Maxwell Holstein, 22, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, surrounded by his family and friends. Caleb was a rising EDM artist and promoter, recording and performing in the Detroit club scene as HiTeK. Caleb was signed as a sponsored artist with Death2Reggies Apparel shortly after his debut performance at Elecktricity in Pontiac, Michigan. His eclectic style and dynamic stage presence kept the party going with a rhythm that can still be heard; in our ears and in our hearts. Caleb was a 2014 graduate of Bowling Green High School and worked at Pisanello’s Pizza, where he was known for his warm, caring personality.
Caleb is survived by his mother: Marla (Stephen) Colon of Bowling Green, Ohio, father: Jason Holstein of California; his sisters, whom he loved and cared for deeply: Summer (Ryan Serrato) Woodman, Reagan Bowling, and Josephine Bowling of Bowling Green, Ohio; Grandparents: Sally Snider of Risingsun, Ohio, Paul (Shirley) Colon of Wauseon, Ohio, and Perry Ford of Merrill, Michigan; and his nephew, John Irish of Bowling Green, Ohio. He is also survived by his many friends, fans and supporters, known as ‘The Fam.’ Caleb will always be remembered for his kindness, positive energy and musical talent.
