Cameron D Dewar

Cameron Douglas Dewar, 27, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Saturday June 8, 2019. He was born March 24, 1992 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Douglas and Annette (Warnimont). Cameron was a 2010 Bowling Green High School graduate. He went on to attend Bowling Green State University and Owens Community College. He worked as an equipment operator at Old Castle Glass. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching Ohio State Buckeye, BGSU Falcon and Cleveland Browns football. He also enjoyed watching Colorado Avalanche Hockey and Cleveland Indians Baseball.

Cameron was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Bowling Green. He was an Eagle Scout and was proud of his Stations of the Cross Eagle Scout project that he completed at St. Thomas More in memory of his sister, Haley. He will be fondly remembered for his fun-loving personality. He was extremely active, loved playing sports, especially hockey. Cameron’s greatest joy came from the time he spent with his son, Colton. He was a dedicated father and loved playing sports and participating in any activities his son was interested in.

He is survived by his parents Doug and Annette Dewar of Bowling Green, Ohio, his son Colton of Bowling Green, Ohio and grandmother Joyce Warnimont of Leipsic, Ohio. Cameron will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Cameron was preceded in death by his sister Haley, grandparents Ken Warnimont and Don and Betty Dewar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More, 425 Thurstin St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Father Jason Kahle will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
