Neva E Studer

Neva E. Studer, 87, of Bowling Green passed away July 11, 2019 at Wood Haven Health Care in Bowling Green. She was born February 28, 1932 in Weston to Cash and Crystal (Horner) Betz. On June 17, 1976 she married Leon Studer at the Haskins Community Church and he survives her after 43 years of marriage.

Neva worked in Central Supply at the Wood County Hospital retiring after over 25 years of service. She was a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Pack Den Mother, and enjoyed fishing and word puzzles. She was a member of the Haskins Community Church for over 60 years.

Neva is survived by her husband Leon, her sons David Fretter and Matt (Hayley) Studer, her daughter Sue Buchman, her grandchildren Heather (Jason) Hill, Daniele (Jacob) Seifert, Joanna (Andy) Brentlinger, Aaron (Jennifer) Fretter, Charlotte (Scott) Chancey, Elizabeth Hammer, Garret Hammer, Trey Studer, and Jaycie Studer, her great grandchildren Olivia and Jason Parker Hill, Maddox and Asher Seifert, Eddie and Henry Brentlinger, Gabe Fretter, Raphael Fretter and Angela Fretter, great great grandchild Jeanette Fretter, her sisters Sandy (Tom) Walters and Candy Destrange, her sister in law Phylis Betz, her son in law Tim Hammer, her caregiver Deb Klausen, her great neighbors Howard and Karen Bluhm and her Pastor Jennifer Jackson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Lee Fretter, her daughter Sara Hammer, her brothers Duke Betz and Bob Betz, her sister in law Peggy Betz and her son in law Bill Buchman.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Sunday July 14th from 4 to 7 pm at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday 11 am at the Haskins Community Church, 209 W. Main St. Haskins, Ohio with Pastor Jennifer Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, Ohio. Donations in Neva’s memory are encouraged to the Haskins Community Church.
