Candidates forum for BG City Council and School Board set for Sunday

Candidates forum held in the BGSU Grand Ballroom in October 2020.

A candidates forum for Bowling Green City Council and Bowling Green Board of Education candidates will be held Sunday, from 7 to p.m.

This will be a hybrid event with an in-person audience and live-streaming by WBGU-TV.

The public will be able to submit questions for the candidates:

  • Email questions to the League of Women Voters: info@lwvbg.org
  • The league will not share your name or email address
  • Since many questions are expected, not every question may be used
  • Questions must be received on or before Saturday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m.

Attend the forum in person:

  • BGSU Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Lenhart Grand Ballroom
  • Doors open 6:30 p.m., with the program from 7-9 p.m.
  • Face masks are required of everyone regardless of vaccination status
  • Park in lot off Thurstin Avenue and enter north door
