OhioMeansJobs Wood County hosted about 350 high school students from Bowling Green, Otsego, Eastwood and Elmwood for the annual Career Premiere event. More than 30 employers and training providers were on site demonstrating their organizations.
The Career Premiere is designed to provide Wood County students (grades 9 -12) a first-hand look at an organization in an effort to expose them to career options beyond the traditional college or military career paths.
This was also an opportunity for Wood County employers to engage with the next generation of talent by demonstrating the importance of the work they do, and the opportunities to grow and succeed within their organizations.
The event was held at the Wood County Fair Grounds in the Pavilion.
