Carol Dewalt

Carol A. Dewalt, 81, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Sunday October 1, 2017. She was born October 22, 1935 in Bowling Green to Edgar and Mildred (McCain) Rudulph. She married Ronald K. Dewalt on August 22, 1953 and he preceded her in death April 19, 2013.

Carol was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green. She worked for many years at Uhlman’s and also worked at the Sentinel Tribune. Carol was an avid knitter, entering many of her pieces into the Wood County Fair and winning several Blue ribbons. She enjoyed playing games, especially Scrabble, doing jigsaw puzzles and going to the Senior Center.

She is survived by her son Keith (Chris) Dewalt of Perrysburg, Ohio, daughters Ronda (Rich) Young of Bowling Green, Cathy (Pat) Moriarty of Columbus, Indiana and Kara (Darby) Reynolds of Bowling Green, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald and sister Norma Burd.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2017 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. A Rosary service will begin at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday October 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St. in Bowling Green. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green.

Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to St. Aloysius Catholic Church or the Wood County Humane Society.
