Bowling Green Police Division responded to a report Tuesday afternoon of a catalytic converter being stolen from a vehicle.
A resident in the 1400 block of East Clough Street reported that as she was walking out to her 2005 Hyundai, she noticed a bracket on the ground. She looked under her car and discovered the catalytic converter had been sawed off.
Catalytic converters are often the target of thefts because of the metals in them that can be resold.
