Child killed in crash this morning near Pemberville

A child is reported to have died this morning in a vehicle crash northeast of Pemberville.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 8:08 a.m. of a single-vehicle crash with injuries on Bradner Road near Sugar Ridge Road. The initial investigation indicated the vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch culvert causing injuries to all four occupants of the vehicle.

EMS and fire agencies from Troy Township, Pemberville, Woodville and Promedica Air responded to the scene.

Nathaniel Rivera, 26, Monica Epley, 30, and Brielle Fredritz, 6, were transported for medical treatment. Cameron Fredritz, 7, was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained during the crash.

The crash is under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
