Children invited to have breakfast with Santa Claus

“Elves on Main," the BG Community Holiday Parade will step off at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 20. The parade will also be broadcast live on WTOL-11 with commentary by Jerry Anderson. Holiday festivities will begin Friday, Nov. 19, with the tree lighting outside the Wood County Library followed by a concert by the BGHS Madrigals inside the Wood County Court House atrium at 7:30 p.m.

The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department along with the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club, and the Wood County Committee on Aging announces the 22nd Annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9 to 11 a.m., in the Senior Center, located at 305 N. Main St.

Participants will eat breakfast, listen to a story time presented by the library, and participate in an arts and crafts activity while waiting to sit on Santa’s lap. Families can take pictures of their children with Santa.

This is a free program for children ages 5 and younger, but families must register in advance with the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department. Call 419-354-6223 or visit www.bgohio.org/parks for more information.
