Cindy Sue Stockwell, 69, of Rudolph, Ohio passed away December 16, 2023. She was born September 27, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Rolland (Junie) Emch Jr. and Donna (Caldwell) Emch. She married Joe Stockwell on September 23, 1977 and he survives in Rudolph.
Along with her husband of 46 years, Joe, Cindy is survived by their daughter Keisha (Dan) Larimore of Elida, Ohio, grandchildren Emma, Kennedy, Madilyn Jo and Colin, brothers Rick (Kathy) Emch, Mike Emch and Scott Emch, brother-in-law Dan McNamee as well as numerous neices and nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister Randi McNamee.
Cindy was a 1972 graduate of Perrysburg High School and went on to graduate from BGSU in 1977. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of Findlay. Cindy taught at Elmwood Local Schools for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Mark’s Church in Bowling Green as well as a active supporter of BGSU Women’s Athletics and a volunteer of Wood County 4-H.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 315 S. College Dr. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Pastor Robin Small will officiate. Interment will follow at Wingston Cemetery in Rudolph, Ohio. Visitation will be held Thursday morning at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or Elmwood Athletic Boosters.
