Movie buffs or casual viewers are invited to view and discuss seldom-seen classic movies at the Wood County Senior Center, 140 S. Grove St., Bowling Green. The movies will be shown on Fridays at 1 p.m.
The genres include war, westerns, drama, action, adventure, comedy, film-noir, science fiction, documentary, romance, crime, seasonals and musicals, primarily from the golden age of Hollywood – 1930 to 1990.
The movies are hosted by John Blinn. Reservations are required.
This month’s movies are:
- April 7 – “Rope” from 1948, starring James Stewart, John Dall and Farley Granger.
- April 14 – “To Catch a Thief” from 1955, starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly.
- April 21 – “The Man Who Knew Too Much” from 1956, starring James Stewart and Doris Day.
- April 28 – “The Wrong Man” from 1956, starring Henry Fonda and Vera Miles.
