The Bowling Green Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Division will continue to replace sanitary sewer laterals on Clay Street the week of March 16. Work will also encompass the replacement of a manhole as well as making several sewer lateral connections.
As a result, Clay Street from Church to Main streets will be closed to traffic. It is anticipated that the closure will last all week with the road reopening by 3:30 p.m. on March 20. Local traffic will have access throughout the project.
Parking will be removed all week. While crews are present and work is occurring, the sidewalks within the construction zone will also be closed.
