Clyde E Partin

Clyde E. Partin, 74, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019. He was born November 22, 1944 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Joe and Annabelle (Matlock) Partin. He married Laura Myerholtz on November 23, 1963 and she survives in Bowling Green. 

Clyde worked for General Dynamics in Lima, Ohio assembling army tanks and installing ammo racks. He served as a Baptist lay minister and loved sharing the Gospel with those around him. Throughout his life he took and enjoyed many missions trips to Africa. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Napoleon, Ohio.

He enjoyed nature, camping, fishing, singing, dancing and listening to old classic country music loud on his record player. Clyde had a song for everything and his quick wit brought about many jokes that always had his friends and family laughing. His greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with his family that he adored and whom adored him just as much in return. 

Along with his wife of 55 years, Laura, Clyde is survived by his children Julie (Keith) Sundermeier of Bowling Green, Ohio, Melissa (Michael) Harding of McClure, Ohio, Keven (Jen) Partin of Bixby, Oklahoma and Jamie (Ray) Miller of Toledo, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren Noelle Boulis, Jesse Sundermeier, Kamryn Sundermeier, Meagan Ferguson, Tristan Harding, Deven Harding, Drake Partin, Sydnee Partin, Annabelle Partin, Molly Partin, Jozie Partin and Raymond “Little Ray” Miller, 8 great-grandchildren and brother John Partin of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Brown, brother Lee Partin and granddaughter Michaela Harding. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1304 Lagrange St. Napoleon, Ohio 43545. Pastor Jeff Wallen will officiate. Visitation will be held Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
