County alcohol, drug and mental health board has vacancy

The Wood County Commissioners Doris I. Herringshaw, Craig LaHote and Theodore H. Bowlus seek to fill a vacancy on the Wood County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board (ADAMHS). Eligible candidates must be residents of Wood County and be interested in mental health services or alcohol, drug addiction or gambling addiction services. Experience in business, finance, law, health care, personnel, or government is preferred.

People employed by entities that contract with the ADAMHS Board are not eligible to be appointed.

Interested candidates shall complete an application for volunteer service, available at the commissioners’ office, or on the commissioners’ website at www.co.wood.oh.us/commissioners/forms, and submit it to the commissioners’ office no later than 4 p.m. on Feb. 10.
