Crash on I-75 south of BG kills motorcyclist

Troopers from the Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 75, near North Baltimore.

Saturday, at approximately 8:51 p.m., a Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra, operated by Kevin Suber, 60, of Detroit, Michigan, was traveling south on I-75.

The left rear tire of the 2012 Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra became detached from the motorcycle, according to troopers. The motorcycle drove into the median, where it struck the concrete median wall and overturned.

Suber was transported by Bloomdale EMS to the Wood County Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Suber was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Impairment does not appear to be a factor in this crash.

This crash remains under investigation.
