Daniel David Duquette, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on May 8, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on December 12, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late LeRoy and Maxine (Gill) Duquette, who preceded him in death.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Susan (Fauth) Duquette of Woodbine, GA, and his children, Chris Duquette of University Place, Washington, and Melanie (John) Finlay of South Bend, Indiana. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dan is remembered fondly by his siblings: Sandi (Gary) Hovis, Cathy (David) Sunderman, Mark (Debbie) Duquette, and Beth Doster.
Dan’s journey began at Wauseon High School, where he graduated in 1968. He continued his education at General Motors Institute, earning a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 1972.
Throughout his life, Dan was passionate about Corvettes, Cadillacs and his favorite band, The Beach Boys. He was known as a master of woodworking, creating beautiful pieces that showcased his craftsmanship and creativity.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 12:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green. Interment will immediately follow at Tontogany Cemetery. All who knew Dan are welcome to attend and share in the remembrance of a life well-lived.
