David E. Bomeli, 67, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away April 5, 2022. He was born on April 16, 1954 in Marietta, Ohio.
David is survived by his children: Dawn (Ron) Walker and Neal (Becky) Bomeli; grandchildren: Nicole, Riley, Miranda, Zack, Kayla, Kali, Carter, and Cody; great-grandchildren: Jayden, Colton, and Lincoln; siblings: Debbie Bomeli; Dan (Cindy) Bomeli; Paul Bomeli; and Tim Bomeli: dear friend ReighAnn and her son AJ. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Doreen (Swaim) Bomeli and brother-in-law Bob Braun.
David graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1972 and made it the state track meet competing in the hurdles. He served his country in the United States Army just after the Vietnam War. He worked at the VA Hospital in Cleveland for many years and last worked at Grounds for Thought in Bowling Green. He helped out in a number of ways with the Black Swamp Festival. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing softball. He loved animals especially his dogs Maggie and Nova. He never met a stranger and always had a story to tell. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be gifted to the Wood County Humane Society or Wood Lane Residential Services.
A visitation for David will be held on April 29, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of his Celebration of Life service at 12:00 pm in Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio.
