David Eugene Kitchen, 63, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Friday May 6, 2016. He was born on November 14, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to Robert N. Kitchen and Ethel Siebeneck Sheely. He married Linda Lance on January 29, 1972 and she survives in Bowling Green. David was retired from Cenveo where he was a printer for many years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and mushroom hunting. His greatest passion in life was his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending all of their activities. He had a special place in his heart for his forever companion, Gus who never left his side. Along with his wife of 44 years, Linda, David is survived by his sons Shad (Jean) Kitchen of Bowling Green and Dustin (Tiffany) Kitchen of Tontogany, daughter Gayle Zeigler of Bowling Green, his mother Ethel Siebeneck Sheely and grandchildren Brant, Collin, Josh, Tanner, Blaine, Alayna, Logan, Anna and Ty. He is also survived by his brothers Jim (Pat) Kitchen and Mark (Lisa) Kitchen and sisters Karen (Jack) Hain, Sue Mottashed and Tina (Guy) Manning. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Kitchen, step-father Forrest Sheely and best friends that he considered brothers Butch Evans and Dick Mottashed. Visitation will be held on Monday May 9, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00pm at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington Street Tontogany, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 11:00am at St.Paul Lutheran Church, 17050 Middleton Pike Bowling Green, Ohio. Pastor James Paulson will officiate.
