David L. Buckland, 68, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away April 22, 2019. He was born June 18, 1950 in Lima, Ohio to Raymond and Jeanette (Mullett) Buckland. He married Connie Smith on September 28, 1974 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Dave worked for Modine Manufacturing and was co-owner of H & R Block in Bowling Green. He enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling. He loved attending BGSU Falcon Hockey games and Toledo Mud Hens baseball games.
Along with his wife of nearly 45 years Connie, Dave is survived by his son Matt Buckland of Bowling Green, Ohio, daughter Meg (Mike) Shepherd and grandchildren Michael Shepherd of Adrian, Michigan and Morgan Shepherd of Bowling Green, Ohio. He is also survived by his brothers Al Buckland of Ottawa, Ohio, Gary Buckland of Ottawa, Ohio and Randy Buckland of San Francisco, California and sisters Joni (Andy) Anderson of Arlington, Ohio and Denise (Michael) Warneke of Springfield, Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday May 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
