Debra A. Warncke, 59, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 12, 2019. She was born February 5, 1960 in Bowling Green to the late Larry Rood and Anna (Scherff) Leady.
Deb always enjoyed helping others. Her genuine heart and kind nature shined the brightest through her work at the Beach house in Toledo, where she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was a caregiver for many members of her extended family. Deb adored her family and loved cooking meals for them to share. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her 4 granddaughters.
She is survived by her daughters Tiffany (Phil) Szymczak of Rossford, Ohio, Mandy (Jason) Demland of Defiance, Ohio and Anna (Brent) Kelley of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, granddaughters Vada, Rosamund, Leona and Minnie, her sister Jody (James) Williams of Bowling Green, Ohio, brother Steve Rood and step-father Bill Leady of Bowling Green, Ohio
Deb’s funeral service will be held on Monday June 17, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Steve Altman will officiate. Interment will follow at Tontogany Cemetery in Tontogany, Ohio. Visitation will be held Monday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
