Talented tree decorators are being sought for the annual Pemberville Festival of Trees, planned for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The theme is “Making Seasons Bright” featuring a festival of color and we would like to ask for talented tree decorators to step forward to decorate a tree this year. Anything goes – color of tree, lights, décor, etc. – you create/decorate a tree. The trees should be at least 6 feet tall, with taller trees welcome.
Patrons get to vote for their favorite trees. The winning tree/decorator receives $100 cash. Individual decorators and teams are welcome.
The historic Pemberville Opera House will once again be the setting for this unique display/fundraiser. Decorators will have access to the Opera House starting Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Additional opportunities to decorate will involve tablescapes. Following the “Making Seasons Bright” theme, decorators will create table settings for four and centerpiece décor.
The committee will supply a 48-inch, round table and linen to the floor – you choose the color. Again, anything goes. We are seeking four decorators and/or teams.
Please consider putting your talents to work and call Laurie Housholder 419-686-8125, Cindy Lohrbach 419-287-3876 or Todd Sheets at 419-287-3274 to confirm your participation / theme.
