Discovery Kingdom Child Care Center had some very special visitors Friday.
Since this week is the Wood County Fair and many of the children haven’t been able to attend, the center decided to bring the fair to the kids. Miss Claire Thompson, a Discovery Kingdom preschool teacher, had been diligently planning all week to line up our “mini fair” for the kids.
Children from several age groups were able to meet the animals, as Discovery Kingdom provides care to age groups 6 weeks to 12 years. The kids were bubbling with excitement as they raced around to greet each animal.
The main attractions were a miniature cow, chickens, ducks and rabbits.
