Donald Wallace Mahler “Don”, of Helena, Ohio passed away on April 30, 2024. Born on January 6, 1943 to late Edward and Mable “Wheeler” Mahler in Millersville, Ohio.
Don worked as a forklift operator for 34 years at Heinz in Fremont, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed camping and was very involved in S.C.R.A.P, a flea market and antique tractor show in Gibsonburg, for nearly 60 years.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Carolyn Mahler; children: Don Mahler Jr; David (Paul) Mahler; Tammy (Glenn) Morris; Tommy Mahler, and Brenda (Ryan) Wasserman; Grandchildren: Mark, Joshua (Alexis), Andrew, Justin (Kara), Emily, Hannah, Courtney; and great-grandchildren: Oliver, Lance, Sebastian, Bentley, and Kraven. Don was preceded in death by his parents; and 7 brothers.
Service for Don will be private.
