A Northwood woman was injured in a crash on U.S. 6 near Ohio 199, east of Bowling Green, on Saturday around 3:40 p.m.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, the crash reportedly occurred when the driver of a car headed eastbound on Route 6 went left of center and hit a semi-truck traveling westward on Route 6.
The driver of the car, Sunshine Blankenship, 40, of Northwood, was transported to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center with suspected serious injuries.
The semi driver, Jacob Blacke, 28, of New Mexico, had no apparent injuries.
