Edward A. Ruthenberg, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away February 10, 2020. He was born May 16, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to the late Frank and Martha (Bouschere) Ruthenberg. He married Ellen Lewis on January 7, 1967 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Edward worked as a purchasing agent for Akron Standard. He was an avid golfer and a sports enthusiast. His greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with his grandchildren and he especially enjoyed watching their sporting events.
Along with his wife of 53 years, Ellen, Edward is survived by his sons Joseph (Lisa) Ruthenberg of Mason, Alabama and Michael (Wendy) Ruthenberg of Bowling Green, Ohio and grandchildren Kate Ruthenberg, Molly Ruthenberg and Allison Corwin.
He was preceded in death by his sister MaryAnn Casper.
Services for Edward will be private for the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green.
