The Weston maintenance building got a new mural recently thanks to the Otsego Junior High art students.
The Weston City Council approached art teacher Jennifer Rank about having students create the mural. In the past, students have designed and painted murals for the dugouts at the baseball field.
A competition was held and the council selected the design created by eighth grader Sophia Schroeder.
Last weekend Rank and Sophia, along with seventh grader Karley Maushand spent six hours painting the mural.
The space, Rank said, The space is used for holiday festivities throughout the year.
