A free Emergency Essentials Fair is being planned in Bowling Green.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will host an Emergency Essentials Fair for the community on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The church will host the fair to help citizens become better prepared to manage emergency situations that may arise in their homes, neighborhood or community.
The Emergency Essentials Fair will include representatives from the American Red Cross, Bowling Green Police and Fire divisions, Thayer Ford, the American Relay Radio League, and more.
Demonstrations and activities will include creating a 72-hour emergency kit, estate planning, bread making, sprouting, emergency auto situations, food storage and nutrition, a kid’s corner and more.
The event, which is open to the public, will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1033 Conneaut Ave., Bowling Green.
