The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Emma Ferguson is the March 2023 Student of the Month. Emma is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 28, 2023. She is the daughter of Bill and Melanie Ferguson.
Emma’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society, French Honors Society, and BGHS representative at the HOBY leadership conference. Emma is very active in FFA where she has been secretary and vice-president. Through FFA, she has placed third in the District Public Speaking competition, second place Gold Rated Officer Book, and received the Spirit of FFA award. Emma is a four-year cheerleader and received the Most Valuable Award as a senior. Emma also participates in the Drama Club where she has served as the musical dance captain for three years.
Outside of school, Emma works at Call of the Canyon as a server and a nanny. Additionally, Emma has volunteered for Bobcat-A-Thon to help raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. She currently has a 4.3 GPA and a composite ACT score of 32. After high school, Emma plans to attend The Ohio State University and study zoological sciences.
