Ethel (Kitchen) Sheely of Haskins Ohio passed away on April 10th 2017 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green. She was surrounded by her loving family. Ethel was born to Anthony Siebeneck and Emma (Gerding) Siebeneck in Ottawa Ohio on January 11th 1929. Ethel married Robert Kitchen on June 10th, 1950. Robert preceded her in death on November 18, 1975. She later married Forest Sheely in September of 1979. He preceded her in death in September of 2002. Ethel was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Grand Rapids Ohio. She was a homemaker who will forever be remembered for her family meals, apple pie, and homemade jam. Ethel passed on her faith and love of the Lord to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her son David, and grandson Brian. She is survived by her children James (Patricia), daughter in law Linda, Karen (Jack) Hain, and Mark (Lisa). Also surviving are her stepchildren Butch (Cindy), Sandra, and James. She enjoyed the company of her 16 grandchildren and her 23 great grandchildren. Ethel will be missed very much by her extensive family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family are welcome to visit at Peinert-Dunn funeral home in Tontogany Ohio on April 17th from 3pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday April 18th at St. Patrick’s Church in Grand Rapids Ohio at 10am. Burial will follow mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic cemetery.
