The Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Association of Foodbanks have officially launched the Ohio Community+Agriculture+Nutrition (Ohio CAN) program.
Ohio CAN is connecting producers with communities! Through this innovative program, historically underrepresented producers will be able to sell food to the Ohio Association of Foodbanks and the products will then be distributed through the 12 Feeding America foodbanks and 3,600 member charities across all 88 counties. Ohio CAN is building the resiliency of the state food supply chain and ensuring every farmer has an opportunity to feed Ohioans.
