The Firefly Nights 5K run will take place in Bowling Green on Friday. As a result, West Oak Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 6 p.m. until the race has finished. Parking restrictions will be in place on the west side of Main Street from Wooster to Pearl, and Oak from Main to Church.
The run will begin at 9 p.m., and will proceed along the following route:
• Start near the City Administration Building – 304 N. Church St.
• South on Church Street
• East on Wooster Street
• South on Main Street
• West on Pearl Street
• North on Maple Street
• West on Conneaut Avenue into City Park
• One lap counterclockwise around City Park
• East on Conneaut Avenue
• North on Fairview Avenue
• East on Curtis Avenue
• South on Grove Street
• East on Court Street
• North on Church Street
• East on Oak Street (finish line)
While runners are present on each road, traffic will be affected and traffic patterns may be altered.
