Firefly Nights festival back with more bounce in its set up

Firefly Nights returns to downtown Bowling Green Friday, June 16 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. with kids activities, music, food trucks, and vendors. Bubble play at June's Firefly Night Summer Festival in 2022.

After a triumphant return in June, the Firefly Nights is ready to return Friday, July 15, with even more a bounce in its step.

Held in downtown Bowing Green and Wooster Green from 6 to 10 p.m., the festival will bring back its lineup of kids activities, music, and arts and craft vendors.

That includes more bounce houses on Wooster Green.

Music performances on the stage near the Black Swamp Mural on South Main will feature: Mark Poseler, 6:30 p.m.; Ginger and the Snaps, 7:30 p.m.; and AmpWagon, 9 p.m. 

Glovation Circus returns with street entertainment and kids activities.  

Also, a number of  non profit groups will hold various children’s activities.

Bowling Green Community Foundation will hold an Ice Cream Social on The Wooster Green. 

The State Bank will be on site with the Gives Truck  offering giveaways and matching all donations made that evening for Firefly Nights.

Movie Night hosted by Thayer Family Dealerships will return in the Wooster Green.
