Five new Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) were recently sworn in at the Wood County Juvenile Court.

Kevin Braun, Travis Chapin, Anne Clark, Eva Zuchowski, and Beth Cooksey were given the oath of office by Wood County Juvenile Court Judge Dave Woessner. The new CASA’s come from across Wood County.

The five new CASA volunteers join Wood County Juvenile Court’s active CASA program who advocate for children alleged or found to be abused, neglected, or dependent children.

After swearing in the new class of volunteers, Woessner noted: “I am continually encouraged and impressed by the willingness of others to serve as CASA’s. We remain fortunate to have volunteers to step up and hold children in need in Wood County.”
