Garbage and recycling container address labels in Wards 1 & 2 now only

The Bowling Green Public Works Department is in the process of placing address labels on refuse and recycling containers in Wards 1 & 2 only. If you live in Wards 1 or 2, your garbage day occurs on Wednesday. At this time, other areas of the city will not be impacted by this project until next year.

Crews will be working Monday-Friday over the coming weeks to complete Wards 1 and 2. In an effort to expedite this process, city employees, who will be wearing city supplied uniforms, may move your containers to the curb for you. Please leave the containers at the curb until the labels have been placed. At this time, this work will occur exclusively within Wards 1 and 2.

The address label is a black sticker with orange letters approximately 3 inches by 7 inches. Each sticker will associate a particular container with the address it is registered to.  This work is being done to ensure a proper inventory of container locations.

Questions about this work may be directed to the Public Works Department at 419-354-6227.
