The natural gas leak has been shut off affecting South Maple and Gorrell streets, between West Wooster to Pearl streets. Residents are asked to return to their homes so that Columbia Gas or BG Fire Division crews may test gas levels within their homes.
Crews will stop vehicles/pedestrians entering the area and will escort residents to their homes. Residents are asked to not enter their homes without crews testing gas levels first. Residents may call the Police Division non-emergency line, 419-352-1131, for further guidance or with questions.
