Theresa Gavarone, R-Bowling Green, has been appointed to several Senate committees for the 133rd General Assembly.
Gavarone will serve as vice chair of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Higher Education, as well as a member of the Health, Human Services and Medicaid Committee and Education Committee. In addition, Gavarone will serve on the Senate Judiciary Committee and Government Oversight and Reform Committee.
Gavarone attended the first meetings of the year for the Health, Human Services and Medicaid and Judiciary Committees this week and she expects meeting times for her other committees to be set soon.
