Ohio Senate Majority Whip Senator Theresa Gavarone will give a legislative update, speak about the veto of HB68, which regulates health treatment for transgender youth and their participation in sports, and take questions, Thursday, Jan. 25 from 6-7 p.m. at the Wood County Committee on Aging, 140 South Grove St., Bowling Green.
Gavarone is a cosponsor of HB68.
The session is hosted by the Bowling Green Republican Club.
Also attending the session will be State Central Committeewoman and Lisa Crescimano and Sally Culling, who running in the March primary to unseat State Rep. Haraz Ghanbari.
The session is open to the public.
