June Becker, age 91, of Pemberville, OH and Formerly of Woodville passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, OH. She was born on June 12, 1925 in Millbury, OH to Chauncey and Cora (Meyerholtz) Phillips. On September 8, 1956 she married Wayne Franklin Becker in Lindsey, Ohio. Having celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage, Wayne passed away on March 25, 2006. June was a lifelong homemaker and dedicated her life to being a wife and mother raising four children.June enjoyed going to tractor pulls and her grand-kids sporting events. While her personal time was focused on activities at home, it was her family that meant the most to June.
June is survived by a son: Roger (Anne) Becker of Pemberville, OH, daughter: DeAnn (Jim) Witker of Bradner, OH, daughter and caregiver: Joy (Tom) Henline of Pemberville, OH, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and daughter-in-law: Leila “Lee” Becker of Antwerp, OH. In addition to her husband Wayne, she was preceded in death by her parents, son: James Becker, twin great grandchildren: Addison and Allan Witker, sister: Virginia Hayward and brothers: Wendell Phillips and Roger Phillips.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 21, 2016. Officiating will be Rev. James Budke. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, OH. Consideration for memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
